That background picture is me, age 3 or 4, wearing my Dad’s headphones. At 12 he handed me down his Pioneer SX-750 and some kit-built speakers and that started my love affair with music and audio. I enjoy it all from vintage to modern, on the cheap or high end, lofi, midfi and hifi.

I like to see equipment rescued and re-homed. I’ll take pieces and drive them up and down the east coast to get them repaired and ready for their next 20 years.

I especially like to rescue New England speaker makers, but my favorite speakers are the odd balls, the bipoles, dipoles, omni-directional, planar, electrostats, and one-offs.

If you are facing a collection that needs downsizing or maybe your kids are not interested in inheriting your years of collecting and audio love, call me, text me, I’d love to help you downsize and move it along to happy new collectors.

I also like to help with a first set up as much as I like to offer advice on tweaking or upgrading a current system.
